Established in 1976, the Arkansas Disability Coalition (ADC) is a statewide non-profit 501(c)3 organization, serving families and individuals with disabilities. The ADC focuses on providing information about educational, health, and community-based services to support Arkansans with chronic, complex medical issues. The ADC aims to empower individuals and families to access opportunities, that may improve health, education, quality of life, and inclusion, ultimately leading to more independent and productive lives.
The ADC’s programs include Family-2-Family Health Information Center (F2F HIC), the ADC Leadership Gym and Project DOCC. Our Family Resource Specialists are located in Regions across Arkansas to provide localized support.
The ADC’s Board of Directors comprises up to 15 members, including individuals with disabilities, professionals devoted to serving Arkansas families, and parents of children with disabilities.
To address the changing needs of families, the ADC strives to reach underserved areas in Arkansas by providing essential information, empowering families to be involved and advocate for their child’s health, education and life.
