Family Voices CARES Act:
Telehealth for Family Engagement

The Arkansas Disability Coalition, the F2F in AR, is a member of the state’s COVID-19 Rapid Response Steering Committee, is helping to gather data and organizational perspectives to inform and participate in deploying telehealth solution strategies. As part of that work, F2F staff are working with the Title V/CSHCN staff, the Medicaid-funded Provider-led Arkansas Shared Savings Entity (PASSE), and other waiver service providers to identify families who need support for telehealth.

This statewide program will help expand telehealth access and infrastructure for the national network of MCHB funded Family-to-Family Health Information Centers (F2F’s).  Families of children with special health care needs who do not have a computer with a forward-facing camera and/or internet access can contact the F2F Family Resource Specialist in their area to participate. A tablet and support towards the cost of internet access will be provided to each participating family. F2F Family Resource Specialist will provide training and technical support throughout the process.

To sign up for the program, contact your resource specialist here.
