Although financial assistance can be difficult to find and very limited, some direct financial assistance is available through a number of avenues. Children and adults with developmental disabilities may qualify for cash subsidies and/or various federal or state programs. Learn about the Social Security Administration, Department of Human Services (Division of County Operations), SNAP (food stamps), Transitional Employment Assistance (TEA), and other financial assistance here. Also find help with financial planning for families dealing with a disability.
