Mission Statement: Arkansas Children’s Hospital offers a financial assistance program for patients not eligible for other assistance programs such as Medicaid. Patients may also be eligible for discounts and/or interest-free loans.
Overview: Arkansas Children’s Hospital uses its best efforts to assist patients and guarantors in meeting their financial responsibilities for services performed at ACH. Assistance may be given as a result of ACH’s determination of a patient/guarantor’s inability to pay, not their willingness to pay.
An application, including income and resource verification, is required, and Financial Counselors may be available if you need help completing the application forms. Criteria considered include (but are not limited to):
- household’s gross income
- household’s cash resources
- other insurance coverage and if it has already been exhausted.
Information is available in English and Spanish.

Geographic Areas Served: ALL counties in Arkansas.
