Overview: ADSA was incorporated in 2004 and is a 501 c3 nonprofit organization. ADSA is dedicated to advocating for healthy, inclusive, and productive lives for people with Down Syndrome (DS). ADSA serves the DS community by providing free events and services for Individuals and families across Arkansas, as well as sponsored awareness and educational materials for schools and communities. ADSA is an all-volunteer organization guided by a diverse board of directors, consisting of medical professionals, members of local business communities and parents of children with DS. ADSA’s website, http://www.ardownsyndrome.org, is the largest and most comprehensive Arkansas-based websites for Individuals and families with DS, including valuable advocacy, educational, legal, medical and tax resources.

Mission: DSCNWA’s mission is to facilitate inclusion and respect for Individuals with Down Syndrome within the Northwest Arkansas Community, ensuring that they have access to the support and the resources necessary to reach their full potential at all stages of life.

Vision: DSCNWA’s is a Northwest Arkansas Community in which individuals with Down Syndrome are able to participate in a meaningful way at work and at play, are able to achieve their aspirations, and are welcomed as valued community members.
